2nd largest footrace is one of the best road races in the South! Listed
in Running Times as "One of the 100 Great short races." Join us in Corinth for a quality

Course
and Certification
The Start/Finish line is located at the intersection of Fillmore Street and Cruise Street in downtown Corinth, two blocks
west of the Courthouse. The course is 10,000 meters, certified by U.S.A.
Track & Field, certificate #MS93001RH.
Walkers
Welcome
Anyone interested
in registering to walk the course is highly encouraged to participate.
Walkers will receive all the freebies and benefits that runners do —
including free merchandise, medallion, food, flowers, and a prize drawing.
The finish line will remain open for two hours after the start. This equates
to a 20 minute per mile pace. Only
registered participants with an official race number will be allowed on the
course.
Safety
For the safety of all concerned, the course is restricted to runners,
walkers, self-propelled wheelchairs (under WSUSA rules; helmets and brakes
required) and official racing strollers. Dogs, bicycles, roller skates,
roller blades, wagons, skateboards, hand-cranked wheelchairs or motorized
wheelchairs are not allowed. Please do not wear headphones.
Disqualification
Anyone who
does not follow the safety rules listed above, who does not follow
appropriate starting procedure, who jumps into the race along the course, or
who does not follow generally accepted rules for the safe and fair conduct of
a running event, may be deleted from the official results and disqualified
from the Coca-Cola Classic 10k for up to two years.

Pick Up
Race packets
include 100% cotton t-shirt, race number, instructions etc. Packet pick up
will be at Refreshments, Inc., Corinth,
on Friday, May 4th, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Remaining race packets will be
given at registration on Saturday between 7:00 and 8:00. We cannot be
responsible for shortages in t-shirt sizes for race day registrants.
IMPORTANT
— DO NOT SWITCH NUMBERS with anyone or give your number to
someone else. Only participants with a number will be allowed on the course.
If you forget your number on race day, please get a replacement number at
registration when you pick up your chip.

ChampionChip
Scoring
2007 Corinth
Coca-Cola Classic 10k will again use ChampionChip timing technology. To get an official race time and be
included in results, participants MUST wear a race chip. The ChampionChip technology allows for
precision and timing accuracy in road racing performance. Race Chip pickup is on race day ONLY
(7:00-8:00). Return Chips at Finish line Chute. NOTE: There will be a $35 fee
for any rental chip not returned.

Complete times for all finishers will be given to the Daily Corinthian and
all regional newspapers.
